Beth Lovell

Beth Lovell, Broker, has worked in residential Houston real estate sales for over half her life. Born & raised in Houston, Beth joined the industry at the very young age of fifteen, working part-time for a Realtor during high school and into her college years. Beth came to work for Ronnie & Cathy Matthews in 1998 and has watched their team grow and expand over the years. She has worn many hats for the team, working in both their Pre-Listing and Pending Departments and taking on the position of Broker as well.

Beth is passionate about Houston real estate.  She served as the 2018 Chair of the Houston Association of Realtors’ MLS Advisory Group and remains an active member of the group today.  She is also devoted to dog rescue and is the Board Chair for Corridor Rescue Inc., a street dog rescue that takes hundreds of abandoned & dumped dogs off the Houston streets each year, rehabilitates them, & finds them loving forever homes.

Beth has been married to her husband, Ben, for seventeen years. Together, they raised their two children, Stacy & Lena, and they have a rescue pit bull, Sami, whom they consider their third child. Beth’s favorite pastimes outside of real estate include cooking & baking for her family & friends, shopping, attending classic rock concerts, and taking road trips around Texas with her mother and her aunt.

Brandi Kira was born in Baton Rouge, LA where most of her family still resides. While she has lived all over the world, Brandi proudly calls Houston “home”.

Her strong management background includes achievements across a variety of industries. With experience in restaurant, retail and outside software sales, Brandi has strengthened her leadership, communication and organizational skills while displaying flexibility and consistency.

Brandi has been with our team for over 6 years and has embraced many roles. In her previous role as Relocation Director, Brandi has exemplified superior customer service and a true understanding of anticipating her client’s needs. In her newest role as a Marketing Representative, Brandi will continue to build relationships and make new connections while continuing to bring her charisma, energy and passion to the real estate industry.

In her spare time, Brandi enjoys fun and adventure with her young son. She loves to learn about other cultures through travel and exploring new foods.

Christine uses her unique negotiating insights to tirelessly advocate for her clients. A born-and-bred Texas girl, Christine offers a seasoned knowledge of Houston and surrounding communities and she has an intimate understanding of what makes each distinct residential niche so special. Above all, Christine values relationships over transactions, and much of her business comes from repeat clients or referrals. Christine has been married to her high school sweetheart, Larry, for 23 years. They are the proud parents of three boys – Cole, age 20 (a college sophomore), Ben, age 18, a high school senior, and their sweet little addition Beau, who is 8 and in the second grade. In her free time, you will find Christine on a football, baseball, or lacrosse field supporting her boys as they play their chosen sport! Christine also has a love for interior design which gives her a unique and important perspective when working with her clients. Christine has a passion for helping people build their dream home, regardless of budget. As an experienced Realtor, Christine understands that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions in a person’s life, she views representation and guidance of her clients through this process as a true privilege!

Courtney Cameron

Courtney Cameron was born in Galveston and grew up in southern Brazoria County, but now resides in the Spring/Woodlands area.

As a Licensed Realtor, she brings over 10 years of customer service and inside sales experience to The Matthews Team. Courtney loves meeting and interacting with new people and strives to achieve success in all aspects.

In her free time she loves to travel, go for a run, try new restaurants with her fiancé and daughter, and enjoys the outdoors.

Erin Plummer

Originally from Austin, Erin Plummer is a 2013 graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design and works diligently to keep up to date with the latest design trends.

Erin has been with RE/MAX Legends for seven years and her focus is to create informative graphics that are also eye-catching.

When she is not designing, she enjoys backpacking, painting, and seeing live music.

Heather Anderson Chavana

Heather was raised in a small town in East Texas and graduated high school with a class of 32! She then attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches before moving to Houston.

After managing tanning salons for a few years, she began her real estate career with The Matthews Team and hasn’t looked back. Heather started in our Pending Department and over the years has worked in our Listing Department, handled foreclosure properties, and is now back in our Pending Department, helping Buyers & Sellers from contract execution to closing.  Of all the departments Heather has worked in, she loves Pending the most because it is very timeline and communication driven. It also is very rewarding because it is that last step before closing and there’s nothing more exciting to deliver “Great news – your home is officially S-O-L-D” or “Congratulations, you are officially a new homeowner”.

In 2016, Heather became a Co-Owner of RE/MAX Legends and in 2018/2019, Heather took on the role of General Manager. She also obtained her Broker’s License and is an Associate Broker for the Team.

Heather prides herself in her work ethic, communication, and makes herself available 7 days a week. Her position in Pending and Management requires her to be very detail oriented, timeline driving, and always in “go” mode – so rest assured when you work with her you are always in good hands. She loves being part of a team and truly feels finding The Matthews Team – RE/MAX Legends has been life changing.

In her free time, Heather enjoys time with family – she is married and has two stepsons, a daughter, and a dog named Paco, which keep them very busy. She loves to workout, watch or play sports, anything outdoors, and when possible – traveling and short weekend getaways.

Janet Dziedzic

Janet Dziedzic is a native Houstonian that grew up in the North Houston area.  She started her career as a Computer Operator, working for the Kroger Company in their Texas Corporate office located in Houston.  As a Lead Operator, her skills included computer programs, obtaining orders from all the Texas stores multiple times a day, constant communication with team members, time management of the operations, and good record keeping.

After taking time off to start her family, she returned as an Assistant Director for a Childcare Center where she shared the responsibility for the wellbeing of 100+ children enrolled. Which also included staying state certified in all safety measures for the children, including food service, and sanitation. Janet’s favorite part was the children’s excitement of starting a new classroom as they grew older.

Once Janet’s boys were no longer the age to be in childcare, she ventured out to try a new field of work.  Accepted a position as an Agent Assistant for a Realtor at RE/MAX Northwest.  She would help handle the property management of his rental properties, office bookkeeping, and phones.  The RE/MAX Agent needed supportive help with holding Open Houses and working with the increase of Buyers, so suggested that I get my license in 2001.  After a few years, wanted to expand her skills in the Real Estate market so then joined Ronnie & Cathy Matthews with their successful team in 2004 and have enjoyed learning and growing from the legends of the real estate business.  Janet handles many different tasks from Listing Agent, Buyer’s Agent, and Builder Marketing Director.  She is ready to handle whatever needed, for it takes versatile, strong, supportive team members to keep our office running smoothly.

Janet Dziedzic has been married for over 30+ years to her husband Anthony and have raised 2 sons.  Many of her hobbies include fishing, trying new places, road trips, hanging out with friends, and spending quality time with her family.  Janet has survived cancer twice and is currently still undergoing treatment.  She has the drive and determination not to let that defeat her.  Her motto is “Every day is a new blessing for which God provides, make it count”.

Juan “Jay” Alfrido was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, but was raised in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston and has extensive experience in both the insurance and real estate industries. He has been with The Matthews Team for abouteighteen years. Jay is fluent in Spanish, a key aspect in enabling him to assist international clientele.

As a Listing Specialist, Jay stays abreast of market conditions to providethe most updated home sale strategies to our clients. He is well-versed in the relocation process of numerous Fortune 500 companies and offers his expertise in pricing, marketing, and staging homes. He is centered on a realistic approach to maximizing the client’s home value while staying focused on current market conditions.

Jay is an outdoor enthusiast and has several eco-friendly pursuits, including cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, golf, and competing in local outdoor events. His passion for achievement is reflected in his service to our clients to appropriately price their home for the market, resulting in an optimized sale and successful closing!

Jennifer Jacobson was born and raised in the Corpus Christi, TX area and moved to Houston in 2002. She began her real estate career that same year working as a part time real estate assistant for a predominant team in the Lake Conroe area. During this time, Jennifer also completed a degree in Business Management, graduating in 2003.  Despite being a college graduate, Jennifer’s passion for real estate grew stronger as her knowledge & experience within in the real estate field flourished sparking her to become a full time agent shortly after graduation.  Since then, Jennifer has spent the majority of her time in real estate within the RE/MAX family and became a member of the prestigious Matthews Team in 2010.

Joining the team initially as a Buyer Specialist, Jennifer spent her days diligently researching and targeting on and off market properties for her clients, providing them extensive information and knowledge about the entire buying process. Her focus on the needs of each individual client, vast knowledge of the local market, and sincere desire to exceed expectations lead her to her current position as The Matthews Team Relocation and Elite Properties Director.  While her role within in the team has shifted, Jennifer continues to provide her clients with a true white glove service like no other. She is well versed in the relocation process of numerous Fortune 500 companies along with having vast knowledge in the luxury home market.  Her continual growth and ability to adapt to the ever-changing world of real estate has allowed her to provide many Elite clientele and corporate transferees the luxury of transitioning into their new surroundings with ease.

Jennifer is also the proud mother of a son and daughter who are currently attending Texas A&M University and the University of Louisiana. In her spare time, she finds herself juggling quick trips to visit them and enjoying watching her daughter play Division 1 volleyball. While she may seem to be always on the go, her excellent multitasking skills ensure both work and family needs are always met.

Kim Lindke

Kim Lindke was born in Houston, but grew up in small town Caldwell, TX and then moved back to Magnolia, which provides small town vibes with access to the big city for her family.

She started working with RE/MAX Legends in 2013 in the Pending Department and over the years, has helped in our Listing Department and now our Pre-Listing Department, which helps to prepare for meeting Sellers. Kim works closely with Beth, our Broker, and has the flexibility and knowledge to assist with any part of the buying or selling process.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys road trips with her family, beach/lake/river getaways, crafting and spending time with friends.

Hi, I’m Lani Wilson and I’ve been with The Matthews Team since 2010. I am a Licensed Realtor and one of our team’s Listing Coordinators, as well as the Listing Department Manager and a Co-owner of RE/MAX Legends.

I envision myself as an advocate for the sellers that we represent. Relying on many years of experience as a licensed real estate agent, as well as my knowledge of the latest market trends, I am able to adjust our marketing strategy and approach to your home and your current situation while keeping you updated each step of the way. By evaluating feedback from showings, providing detailed market updates, and offering professional price opinions based on market conditions, I will be walking you through every step of the way. Marketing your home via targeted ads on social media to prospective buyers, advertising on multiple websites, shooting and editing videos of your home, featuring your home on the main page of our website, and keeping you up to date throughout the process, my goal is to generate an offer on your home at which point, we’ll discuss strategies to negotiate the offer to the best terms possible in order to reach our shared goal of getting under contract and obtaining top dollar for your home. Communication is my top priority – I’m available via phone, email, text and I pride myself on quick response times.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband at our home in Cypress, Texas. We are the proud parents of four adult children and a little Shih Tzu named Ryder. We spend our free time supporting local restaurants and establishments, listening to live local musicians, wine tasting, running/walking, and traveling – one of our favorite destinations is our family-owned small island with a tiny cabin in northern Minnesota.

Marla Monaghan

Marla Monaghan was born in Detroit, Michigan and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business from Central Michigan University. Shortly after graduating, Marla took a position with a major automotive manufacturer, and she eventually transferred to Houston. Once here, Marla fell in love with Texas and all that Houston has to offer. While working in a large corporate environment, she acquired strong people skills, building healthy professional relationships based on the customers’ needs and ultimate goals.

Marla joined RE/MAX Legends as a Buyer’s Agent in 2005. Her depth of market knowledge and passion for delivering on clients’ expectations has garnered her a strong track record of success over the last thirteen years. Marla’s priority is to help clients locate the right house to call home. She listens attentively to capture the needs and wants of her buyers, does extensive research, then puts together numerous scenarios in order to meet and exceed expectations so that each buyer has the best experience from start to finish.

When Marla is not working with Buyers, she is out there helping to find business opportunities and ways to spread the word about The Matthews Team.

Joining the team in 2021, Michael Romano is the newest addition to our Buyer’s Agents. Michael comes to us from an extensive background in Apartment Leasing and Management. His passion for helping others and wanting to take the next step in his career led him to obtain his Real Estate License.

Michael’s enthusiastic, can-do attitude and highly driven nature is equally matched by his hard work ethic, communication, and focus on streamlined processes to make a home sale or purchase as low-stress as possible.

Michael grew up in the Houston area and attended college in San Antonio, where he earned his associate degree in Business Marketing. Michael stumbled into the Apartment Industry while in college & that is where his love of helping others developed and eventually pushed him to the path of Real Estate.

In 2020, Michael returned to Houston to grow his real estate career and things have taken off from there! Since joining The Matthews Team, Michael has helped numerous Tenants and Buyers citywide. If the Houston MLS covers it, Michael will be there!
When he’s not selling real estate, Michael enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, walking/biking/running with his dog, Brody, and enjoying the many great parks and recreational areas that Houston has to offer.

Michelle Stetson

Michelle Stetson was born in Port Sulphur, LA, and she moved to Texas when she was 5 years old.  She was raised in Oak Ridge has lived in The Woodlands, Conroe and currently lives in Montgomery.

Michelle attended North Harris County Community College where she studied Accounting.  She has over 30 years’ experience in Accounting & Human Resources.  She enjoys the daily challenges that are presented to her and that every day is different.  She enjoys working closely with our General Manager to help make our Team the most effective and efficient Team possible.

When Michelle isn’t working, she spends the majority of her time with her Mother, Daughter, Son-in-law and Granddaughter.  Her family is extremely important to her and she is a very proud Momma & Gummy!  Michelle also likes to build things with wood, multiple different crafts & gardening.  Her most favorite thing to do is baking cookies with her Granddaughter.

Michael “Mike” Paiz was born and raised in the northern part of Houston by his Grandparents. In 2001, he graduated from Mac Arthur High School. Always one for exciting challenges and the desire to have something that constantly kept him on the go, Mike pursued a career in the automotive industry as a tow truck driver for a collision center. He did that for about 7 years and ultimately decided it was time to make a change.

In 2010, Mike decided a great use of his determination, leadership skills gained in the automotive industry, passion for learning something new, and goal to build a long-term successful career, he joined the world of real estate. After some time as an independent Realtor, he was offered a position on The Matthews Team, RE/MAX Legends and hasn’t looked back.  Mike is a “jack of all trades” for the team and is a huge part of our success with all the behind the scenes work he does.

In 2018, Mike added a new skill set based on his love of real estate and desire to expand his knowledge. He finds investment homes, remodels them (could be a small remodel or an entire overhaul of a home), and then sells them.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and watching any DIY type shows – always on the lookout for his next big project.

Patti Romano

Patti Romano is a native Houstonian. She attended Sam Houston State University, where she earned a B.A Degree in Vocal Performance. While simultaneously teaching and singing professionally, Patti met a real estate broker who was developing an upscale acreage community for luxury homes in Conroe. At the time, he suggested she obtain a real estate license and sell for him.

Patti jumped on the opportunity and has been selling real estate ever since. Patti joined The Matthews Team in 2000 with a focus on working with Buyers &has helped numerous clients repatriate from all over the world. Many of these clients come back to Patti & team when the time came to sell, so Patti has also helped many Sellers over the years get the most for their home possible.

In 2021, Patti became an Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) for Dave Ramsey, a huge honor which Patti is very proud of. She attributes her energy, work ethic, morality, professionalism, and negotiating skills as key reasons why she was selected as an ELP and for her success and tenure with the team.

When not engaged in her passion of selling real estate, Patti enjoys time spent with her family, husband, and close friends. She enjoys good music, good food, reading, singing, traveling, spending time with her dog, Cosmo, and taking long walks.

Renee Martin

Renee Martin was born & raised in Upstate New York and traveled to Texas in 1983 for 96 hours on a greyhound bus to visit a friend (future husband). Once she stepped foot in Texas, she knew she had found her new home.

In 1989, she received her real estate license and launched her career as an independent Realtor with RE/MAX. With her outgoing personality and problem-solving skills, Renee quickly realized her true talent and specialty was representing sellers and achieving a successful closing.

Renee joined The Matthews Team in 1992 and has spent her entire adult life assisting over 17,000 sellers to a successful closing in the State of Texas. She quickly advanced to the Sale Pending Manager and recently became Co-Owner of REMAX Legends.

Renee is nearing thirty years of service with The Matthews Team. She is a true expert in all contract negotiating terms, contingencies, pending timelines, repair negotiations, and is well versed on every stage of a real estate transaction. Her experience throughout the years, direct knowledge with problem solving and critical thinking abilities give the sellers the security and confidence they need to prevail favorably to closing. She is dedicated to assuring clients have the very best representation and treats each Seller with respect to their unique circumstances while offering her professional guidance with the common goal of a successful closing. She is centered around honesty and integrity to assure all terms of the contract are completed properly and in a timely manner. She understands that this is one of the biggest financial & emotional decisions a seller will make in their lifetime and strives in reaching the most favorable outcome for all sellers.

Outside the office Renee enjoys boating on her favorite lake, going to concerts, cooking Italian specialties for her Family, hosting crawfish boils and sponsoring large events for friend & family!

Samantha Chelette

Samantha is a native Houstonian, longtime resident, and a Realtor specializing in North Houston & the North West Suburbs.

With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Samantha began her career in Real Estate in 1999 and took a short time off to start a family.

When she went back into the workforce, she did so as an administrator & office manager for a prominent real estate office where she assisted over thirty agents with the intricacies associated in closing on a real estate transaction.

Samantha joined The Matthews Team in 2011 as a Buyer’s Agent, specializing in helping Buyers find the right home to fit their needs. As office needs shifted over the past few years, Samantha adjusted to an office position assigning incoming Buyer leads, tracking and lead management, assisting with training of new Buyer’s Agents, etc. Samantha periodically works with Buyers still, but much of her work is behind the scenes where her strong time management and organization skills are utilized daily.

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys time working and building on their family land, spending time with her family and two daughters, and enjoying a good hot cup of coffee.

Yani Paiz

Yani Paiz was born and raised in Houston. In 1999, she graduated in the top 10% of her class and received an academic scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Yani then continued her education at the University of Houston, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Elementary Education.

Yani started working in the restaurant industry, where she refined her customer service and management skills.  In 2012, she was given the opportunity to work with special needs adults, then went on to work for a well-known hospital system, which she did until she transitioned to Real Estate.

Yani was interested in real estate for many years but decided to take the leap in 2020 and pursue her dreams. Her many years in customer service, stellar personality, and go-getter attitude, have been key reasons that Yani was quickly able to transition from part time to a full time Realtor. Yani absolutely loves real estate and the joy of helping others, so a perfect combination!

When Yani is not visiting with clients about their housing needs or showing homes to potential buyers, she loves to spend time with her husband and her children. She loves to travel and most importantly, she loves being a Mom.
