Are you tired of the ever-pressing question of “What’s for dinner?”. Will you be cooking or going out? Do you have picky eaters in your life? Are you tired of running through the restaurants in your head and thinking, “I want to try something new” but inevitably you can NEVER think of that new place you’ve been meaning to try!?! Well, I have your solution! For at least one night anyway.
Saturday, April 6th, 2019, Klein Collins High School is hosting the second annual SPRING FLAVOR FEST! In one night, you can sample over 35+ local eateries! There will be appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries and beverages from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Send your flavor pallet around the “world” in just one night!
You can experience cuisine from India at Tarka Indian Kitchen and then visit India’s northern neighbors for some Asian cuisine at Jing Xins and Pei Wei. After that, head to Italy and visit Mia Bella Trattoria, Olive Garden and Carrabba’s. How about some Brazilian cuisine? Guess what!?! Spring Flavor Fest will have it as Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse will be there!
Once you’ve toured the world, you can continue the taste bud overload on a road trip through the states! Louisiana Cajun flavors from Razzoo’s, mouthwatering barbecue from The Meeting Place and New York style pizza from Russo’s – just to name a few! And if you still haven’t had enough, let’s not forget our southern neighbors – Mexico! Eva’s Mexican Grill, Granny’s Tamales, Gringo’s and Mario’s will all be there with even MORE restaurants from all over the area – each bringing their culture’s food flavors with them for us to enjoy!
If you’ve actually saved room for snacks and desserts, El Kiosko, Edible Arrangements and Smallcakes would love for you to visit them! (Personally, I would skip the food and head straight for dessert!) That’s the beauty of this set-up! You can go in any order and you can please everyone that is with you! No arguments from your family or friends about not liking what you’re serving!

This is going to be an awesome local event, so grab your friends, grab your family or just fly solo! Either way, the food will be hot and ready to enjoy!
